Amazing how forthright one is when you get a total pressure campaign from the remaining Western countries you trade with throw their weight at you.
Laughable......the Iranian leaders knew they minute they gave the order to fire that they shot the plane down....It was no accident....the order was given..
Its either that or there was an intel asset getting out of dodge that Iran felt it was worth shooting down that plane to eliminate.
If the second were the case the plane would never have left the ground with the asset. It’s almost certainly incompetence. I mean, they were so incompetent they didn’t shut down the airport during the operation.
I’m actually curious if the order to fire the missiles was given or done by the Quds independent of the Ayatollah. They’re definitely in turmoil over there, fracturing more and more everyday. We just have to wait and it will implode on its own.

Thise are both good points. I am just trying to think of reasons other than incompetance for such an action. The iranian excuse that a person fired the missile because he mistook the plane for a cruise missile on radar and his radio failed so he had 10 seconds to make a decision.....seems like a lie.

The Daily Mail is reporting that high-ranking Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) leader Taleb Abbas Ali al-Saedi was killed in Iraq on Saturday by an unidentified group of gunmen.
Local media is reporting that Al-Saedi was "assassinated" by an unknown group of gunmen late Saturday night in the Iraqi city of Karbala, some 62 miles southwest of Baghdad, the Daily Mail said. Al-Saedi commanded the Karbala Brigades, an Iranian militia unit that is part of the larger Shiite PMF umbrella.
