We are a good team. We have good balance. Don't need any one person to have a great game to take down other teams. Someone's off, someone else can step up.

Boo showed he can put up 30 on a top 5 team. Miller we know can fill it up. Then you have Chase Audige - who dammit, looked a little Jordanesque with his drive fadeaway jumpers. So smooth.

Then you have Young and Nance who can play a little post to keep defenses honest. Ty Berry off the bench.

Wow, just wow. Offense looks wonderful. Better than anything we saw under Carmody.

Settle down. It is better than last year for sure. However the next several games are a guantlet. In fact, the whole season is. Hopefully you have a similar attitude after we get through with them. I have said that this team will be much more entertaining but the improvement might not be fully reflected in the record as the BIG is so tough top to bottom this year. Right now 7 teams ranked in the top 25 and others knocking on the door. We can have a much better team but a similar record because the BIG is so tough this year. We only really got three OOC games so the record will have to be made with BIG games

Statistically it is the 2nd best NU offense ever behind the 66-67 team. We are only 6 games in though. I expect our averages to drop a bit and be in some dog fights.

Northwestern improves to 2-0 to open Big Ten play for the first time since the 2005-06 season. ○ On Saturday, the Wildcats will look to open 3-0 in conference play for the first time since the 1967-68 season. Let's do this!

Wasn't yesterday a dog fight?

Amazing that through 6 games the least NU has scored is 70.
That’s a much better stat than the average when we played 3 fluffers.

And that was also our biggest problem last year. Not even averaging mid 60’s was brutal. Our defense was fine

If we upset osu saturday, I am all-on the bandwagon for a ncaa tourney team with a long run in store for all of us!!

I really hope we get Beran back quickly. He is perhaps our most underrated player this season. Not putting up big offensive numbers, but makes such a difference with his length defensively, can fill it up from 3 and rebounds well, too.

He was pretty active cheering from the bench in the second half. I would bet he sits out Saturday and maybe a game or two more to allow the ankle to fully heal.
