Montiini gave up in the second quarter. Their offense is too predictable - hand off to Smith almost every play. Defense is non-existent. The only life of offense for the Broncos is when Orlando came in at QB.
You need to bring a power running back into the game when you play the CCL Blue. Montini has a couple of them but won't play them at all (except for maybe 3 plays all season). They should be mixing them in with Smith so the offense is not so predictable.
Also would not mind seeing Foster getting some carries and see what happens.

It was a slaughter. I think this is the worst game I have seen Montini play. You are right the offense is too predictable. Don't know what to make of the defense except they are getting beat on the line almost every play and are not getting any serious pressure on QB's except when blitzing. If they don't get to the QB the defensive backs are leaving the people wide open for completions. This is the third game where both the offense and defensive lines did not play well and the three losses IMO can be attributed to losing the battle in the trenches. Even if Walker was in at running back it wouldn't have made too much of a difference the way the O line was blocking.
The Rice QB played an excellent game. Made some nice passes especially to Smalley who is a real talent. Both offense and defensive lines for BR played outstanding. There are a lot of talented players on BR and their 4-0 record shows it.
Smith had very little running room except for when they had a power back blocking for him. When he went outside he made a few nice runs but the blocking on some of the other outside runs was non existent. Orlando played a good game at QB and when he came in BR had some problems containing him running with the ball. Especially when he had a power back in leading the way. Foster had some nice runs also when #26 was leading the way blocking. I too am very surprised that they haven't used their power backs more often. They did get a first down on a 3 and 2 using #26 on one play but I think he only carried the ball two or three times during the game. Whats up with that? A couple of the Soph games I seen last year he was very good running the ball!
I understand that Norgle is supposed to be back next week. But if he isn't I would use Orlando for most of the game at QB.
