The preseason predictions are really bad. I think we exceed them and have the best team we have had since we went to the dance Miles second season. But still not “good”.

B10 is loaded this year - 7, maybe 8 teams are expected to get tourney invites. MSU is the overwhelming favorite. After that, its a meat grinder. Minnesota, Penn State and Northwestern are veteran teams. Michigan, Purdue, and Maryland with automatic reloads. Iowa returns 4 starters and adds two big recruits. Indiana is sort of mystery, Illinois and Ohio State are both in a bit of a mess with new coaches. Almost all preseason polls and media predictions have Nebraska finishing somewhere between 10-13 in the B10.

The Huskers have some decent players but multiple transfers (in and out) make it tough to predict if all the pieces will fit together good enough to compete above expectations. Could be along year. Moos will be watching pretty close, could be another big hire next Spring.
