We are making him look like an AA as we usually do 1 guy but every drive he pushes off and no call. And Carr looks hurt and scared at the same time, need something from him to win this game.
So Nelson is allowed to push off every drive I guess

yeah but that's how it's being called so just have to adjust and quit letting him drive to the basket
That is allowed way too much in college basketball, officials are rewarding offensive players for playing bully-ball, instead of actual skills.
I haven't seen the game, but I have a question about this comment specifically b/c I see comments like this frequently.
So, how do you stop an offensive player who is pushing off and/or bullrushing to the rim (like the kid from MS ST a couple of games ago)? If the defender gets physical, it's almost always an automatic foul (like it was against the MS ST kid).
But if you don't get physical, the offensive player gains a distinct advantage to get to the rim...I'm not sure how you stop that. So, again, how do you "adjust"?
well my take is if it's not being called "and it was the case" there is nothing you can do about it but just play through it
Easy to own on the court when you arent held accountable for much. Dude had 4 fouls and committed at least a dozen
This has been the trend in college basketball for awhile now. The NCAA has been trying their best to make it diet NBA. Constantly reducing the shotclock to get it closer to 24 seconds. Increasing the 3 point line. Continuation on foul calls etc. now it seems, they are starting to protect "scorers". They want so badly to mirror the NBA.
You can try to do something. Do what they do and flop your *** on to the court. Make the ref make a call
Dude just stop. Nelson committed no more fouls than Butler did playing bully ball with Bamas small guards. And really that’s all you want in officiating. If you’re gonna let their guy do, let our guy do it too.
