But yeah, year 5, had playoff hopes, now we wont even make a bowl unless we first beat #3 A&M on the road.This team does not deserve a bowl…PERIOD. I am worried about a Mass Exodus into the transfer portal, as bad as this year is, next year could be worse!!
Guvna MacMaster needs to check the water in SC. Ive never seen 2 programs in 1 state with such high preseason projections both face plant this badly.
No one will believe him. We aren’t a powerhouse program so he isnt getting fired for 1 awful season for sure. But 2026 is a critical year for Beamer. He has to go at least 7-5 in 2026 or this thing is gonna totally fall apart
Folks need to realize this. They can score points. We can't. They will beat us by double digits. I'm not even remotely convinced we'll beat Coastal.
Can you imagine how bad we will look when our 10 or so best players opt out of the game?
Disagree, tater defense is really bad, helll they gave up 46 points to Puke at home. (Not in basketball) Carolina will beat taters, unless a mass exodus of players from the program, awaiting the portal!!
Pretty much the same recipe I have watched since 1975. Sure, we have had some good years but mostly mediocrity. Last year was good, this year more than evens it out. I am an accountant; I like things to even out (balance).......but d a m n.

I think, if all players participate, that SC talent level is better than taters and at home will help.
I have to disagree. We hung with Alabama and Ole Miss. We will win that one.
I distinctly remember how Beamer was bragging and players were talking about how much fun they had together this summer... playing disc golf, watching movies, etc. Culture is important. So is coaching.
Unfortunately, it will probably be their bowl game as well. They have to win 3 of 4 to be bowl eligible. Furman is a gimme, FSU is a probable, Louisville could be a loss, so our game will be for them to be bowl eligible and not have a losing season.
We both played LSU with similar results. Don’t fool yourself. The have some talent on o and can score. We will get their best shot
That was the toughest team they faced all year. SC had that most all of the season!!
