What is next to solve?

Currently on the History Channel.

FBI field men had it right.

I taped that but haven't watched yet , find it hard to believe that they uncovered new and convincing evidence . Was it believable or just a bunch of theories ?

Total bait and switch. If you haven't watched don't waste your time. Those numbskulls who wasted five years putting this leaky sieve of a case together must feel foolish.

The flight attendant sunk that canoe with a screen door bottom.

It is solid. Pretty good chance they have nailed it.

And sorry.

Ummmm no. Some red herrings and some coincidences and nothing solid. I guess they could be saving something more impressive for the last half hour.

Um, never mind.

Man I wasted all of that time.

I will say this. Eyewitness's are often not as solid as you would think. The smokes...is his DNA one of the ones on it? I think willy is DB Cooper.

I realize he may not have been born yet but he is very crafty.

When I saw that Geraldo pict. It made me think about the first time of the media taking the U.S public on a long *** cable network ride to absolutely the most ridiculous way. I think Geraldo opened Pandora's box to American media when he broadcasted from Capone's vault.

Geraldo: "Wow, we didn't find ****, and these American corpses drank the kool aid for 3 hours waiting... Holy ****. I think we got a money maker."

I watched that crap as well.

I do not normally go for this. I am very interested in DB Cooper though.

Honestly? They had me baited in too.

But, the most credible eye witness, the stewardess who spent the most time with him. Considering she never wanted anything to do with this, and considering her wishes to be finished with this completely, one wonders if she would be truthful if she did recognize the man.

Her body language really didn't do anything either to discount this theory. She really seemed like someone that just wants all this to go away, and wants not another second to deal with this. Any positive ID could lead to nothing but more drama in her life.

I did too. **** I was amped up at that.

DB Cooper case is great. Just highlighting the reality that TV will make **** up as if it's fact.

Remember shark week on Discovery channel and they did that Megalodon piece where they reportedly found it's teeth. All ********.

I guess if we want reality, we will have to focus on Mountain Monsters and Ancient Aliens.

I actually would not rule Rackstraw out, just because the stewardess didn't ID him 45 years later.

What if Cooper was a fed testing the system?

Eyewitnesses are often wrong. DNA trumps everything.

It seems like there are other suspects possibly just as plausible as Rackstraw-Christiansen, McCoy?

The History Channel did an earlier story on this a few years ago. I thought the earlier show mentioned no serial numbers ever showing up anywhere (spent) other than the bills by the lake.

This is true as far as the public knows. The FBI has never let it be known if they have recovered any of the other bills.

The only part of this show that gets me thinking is the crazy old guy who found the money. The look on his face when he watched the video of the guy accusing him of not really finding the money, but staging the discovery screamed that he knew it was true. I think that part of the story needs more investigation. If a drug dealer ended up with the money maybe he was trying to "find" it as way to get the reward money or something like that.

It was a very odd reaction. Very odd.

Well this turned out to be a pile of ****. Flimsy, non-evidence based speculative horse manure. A total complete waste of time. That retired FBI director must feel like a total fool for getting hoodwinked by these rubes. That was just dreadful.

I agree , the money was just not "found" at random. Something going on there. And the guy that found it is shifty as hell.

I also noticed how it seemed the thing stopping Rackstraw from admitting he as DB Cooper was his reference to the sealed or private indictment or whatever it is that allows the authorities to prosecute if someone admits it..or something like that.
