Media suck. The Internet is a dark and hostile place - it sucks. Listening to Danny Kanel criticize LSU - not Joe Schad who started this, not ESPN - but LSU. Amazing really....

Just ESPN trying to get more hits to their website since their stock was down big this week due to huge losses in the number of subscribers. Here is a thought ESPN:

*maybe show actual sports versus 23 hours a day of blowhards who never played talking about sports

* have announcers for football games who don't sound like Mike White but look like Betty White.

* don't give courage awards to former male Olympians who play dress up and wear lipstick.

Joe Schad has to be ticked that he got used and was trying to be the lead on a story that either was not true, had bad sources, or in between.

So it was just a coincidence that Fisher comes out and says he's staying at FSU, and then all of a sudden the LSU AD speaks? So they left Miles twisting in the wind all week, yet there was nothing to the rumors?

Don't be so naive. They believed they were getting Fisher. It fell through, they looked around, saw a bunch of other openings, concluded getting an upgrade wasn't a lock, and decided to stand pat. It may have also been a case of a booster (or boosters) being overzealous and thinking they had more of a shot at Fisher than really existed.

But to think this was all made up and they didn't make a huge run at Fisher is naive.

Alas...the font of reason.
