Lmao..,you guys forget the Turnovers of Ganz.

Tommy left the field with many leads that his defense gave up. I will be glad to review them.

Illinois
Wisconsin
BYU
He lost the Iowa game and won the Iowa game in 2014.
Northwestern we couldn't get a stop.

And Gantz came in and replaced a so called Premadona ( Keller) on **** bad defense and holds the top 2 passing records and 6 out of 10 and don't get to play all 4 years like your Boy..I rest my case to the forum.

Lmao..Michigan St 2015

Because of a screen play...we ran a 100 times....,lmao..when it mattered he threw right to the Db from Texas Tech.

He did have a good game against Kansas St and Colorado....lmao

Ganz didn't win crap for us...That was more about Roy Helu emergence.

Give me 4 years with Gantz like TA had the last 4 years and we are a better team offensively.

I'm not saying record wise.

13. Sept. 9: Nebraska at Oregon
Oregon is coming off its worst season in a decade and has a new head coach to try and reverse that trend. Nebraska, meanwhile, has to find a way to replace its best quarterback since Tommie Frazier. Both teams have real potential in 2017, but will also have major challenges to overcome. An early-season battle in Eugene will give us a real look at which of these teams, if either of them, can be a factor in 2017.

I still argue that it Fyfe had an entire year of starting, he would have been better too.

I appreciate Armstrong's heart, but when you are so inconsistent throwing, the defense can stack the line and then you can't run. Fyfe would have easily been a more consistent passer than Armstrong with any amount of experience. You simply must have a threat to throw to be a quality offense........unless you have an incredible offensive line.

And yes, from TMart to TA, 7 seasons, there was not another option. RKIII and Fyfe as backups. Let's just say we were lucky to have them.

And had bad games for us. But won us as many as he supposedly loss.

I love all Nebraska players....regardless of their contributions.
Obviously not ganz. Remember you are upset with people bashing armstrong and you are doing the same with ganz.

Seems like Ganz had a pick 6 or some mind-numbing stupid play about every other game. Usually very early in the game. Just from recollection he threw pick 6 against CU(07), Miz,Ou,KSU,Clem. Had one returned inside the 5 v. VT, threw that ridiculous int v. TT and took an unimaginable huge sack v. CU(play before Henery kick). That's a lot of game changer type plays for a QB that started one season and 2 games.

This. I'm not gonna debate who was the better QB between the two, but Jeans15, you are roasting Ganz mercilessly, and I think unfairly. He came in and was a lot better than you give him credit for. To me it seems like you just hate that people don't like TA as much as you.

But give credit where credit is due. Ganz was essentially a first year QB under a new coach. Offensive coach was the same at least but went from a WCO to spread. And he still won 9 games.

Quit bagging on him please.

In defense of Tommy...we blame Tommy before we blame a coach who makes pee wee football mistakes after coaching for 20 years or a defense that gave up leads of games that Tommy gave us the lead in.

I appreciate what Ganz did. But Tommy played hurt to help this team win and we blame him every chance we get.

Sorry no deflection and ignoring the garbage we spew about Tommy.

It's the truth..it's not bagging on him...oh well can say Tommy sucked But we can't say Ganz sucked alot.

Please..you are not being reasonable.

No...I pointed out the same deficiencies in Ganz as we claim about Tommy.

That's it. I didn't say he sucked. I said we would have had a worst season because of the lack of Oline play this year.

Zac Taylor would have been a nightmare as well. Can you imagine him receiving pressure as soon as the ball is snapped.

Keep thinking that. There was quite a bit of animosity in your posts. Didnt mean to hijack thread tho.

Yes cause it's old hearing the blaming of Tommy because our coaching staff sucked. I KNOW that.

Like I said give Ganz 4 years and give Tommy 1 1/8. Ganz had a touch on a lot of passes Tommie couldn't throw.

They forgot all of this. I watch games more than anyone on this board..Cause it's a habit to tape old games and still
looking watch them. Been doing it since 95.

I know what I'm talking about.....hell I watched the Missouri game from 2004 last night before I went to bed.

I'm not being reasonable?

I'm not shouting everyone down like you are. And I get it. Edit: many on here have dogged him. He was a warrior for us and doesn't deserve that.

But Ganz went throug a coaching change as well, going from west coast to spread and guess what? He won 9 games. Tommy went through a change of offense as well and won 6. I know the circumstances aren't very similar... Tommy's circumstances were much worse. But for you to say Ganz sucked makes you sound unreasonable, not me.

Tell you what if it wasn't for Ganz Peelini in his first year would have never went 9-4 and beat Clemson and Dabo in the Gator Bowl...

And Roy Helu...please you don't have a clue about that season.

The play of Steinkhuler and Suh won that game...try again.

He is a turnover machine. That's what I said from the beginning. Worst than Tommy.

Someone posted how much of a turnover machine he was.

Never knew we had so much in common. I still have VHS tapes I can know longer play back from the 1983 season.

I admit...I'm a little buzzed from drinking and the Cowboys loss. So I'm a bit pissy...my bad.

But next year I will be defending next year's QB the same way. Proudly.

Which is all I'm really saying. The team loses. Yes Tommy made horrible plays. Yes..I wish we had a better passer at times too.

Let's burry the hatchet and tonight and hope the future is brighter with the changes Riley has made..

I like you and many of others on this board Bleed Husker Red.Winking

You know you can have them converted to DVD or blue ray don't you? It's not all that expensive.

I probably need to look into that but don't know how good the quality would be by switching and who to find to get it done....

But thanks.;)
