and the base obviously loves him because he speaks his mind. Unbelievable that a national politician would publicly say such a thing. Obviously this guy can never win. There are enough rational thinking people left in this country. But apparently they don't reside in the Republican Party. As much as I enjoy watching the GOP implode, this is embarrassing for our political process. Somebody has to lead our country. It would be nice if the jackasses on the other side would quit propping up morons who have no business even being considered-much less leading in the polls.

Exactly. But boy the whackos on here will continue to defend against right-wing bashers like you and me on here. Do you think they will ever realize how ridiculous they are with their spin and rhetoric?

This is hilarious. You two clowns talk more about the guy than anyone. Who defends his antics. I guess strawman lives.

I'm absolutely convinced this is just him trying to keep his agenda on everyone's front page. He has zero intent on staying in the race much longer. And he'll take credit for Jeb's success if he beats Hillary.

No one, every time anyone makes an observation about Trump, the IDIOTS on here jump to totally baseless conclusions. I have commented several times that I favor Walker ( maybe not as much after his performance the other night) BUT the IDIOTS continue to make fools of themselves.

I think he is trying to draw attention and the positive effect is it draws attention to the gop race. The debate was the highest rated cable show ever? That is a lot of people looking for someone to vote for.

I think the ratings prob had to do with seeing what rant Trump goes on next. He's entertaining.

Anyone think of this scenario? Or conspiracy theory?

Trump is a businessman, and as much as I can't stand him, he is very successful and knows how things work. Is it possible that he is doing this to GUARANTEE that the Democrats win 2016? Why would he do that? Perhaps he believes that the Democrats policies or platforms for 2016 would better fit his businesses?

Maybe I'm wrong (and probably so), but it's fun to think of such things happening...

The fact that he's been leading in the polls for over a month despite all the things he's said (McCain) shows how stupid the GOP base is. Trump actually leads Bush in Florida 27%-26% in a poll released yesterday. He leads Bush in SC 31-14. Georgia 30-17. The latest national poll by CBS shows him up 24-13. So 20-30% of the GOP support the guy. It's unbelievable. And I'd bet his debate performance where he offered nothing and his subsequent Kelly comments won't hurt him at all. Pretty sad what the GOP has become.

No doubt his base loves the WWE-esque tantrums he throws. And he'll only grow from here. But no way he plans to ever step one foot in the oval office.

Obviously 20-30% of the GOP doesn't require someone who is a statesman-someone with class who is deliberate, cautious, and dignified and won't go off half-cocked. Imagine these dumbasses would be willing to put him in charge of our military and our nukes. Unreal.

Yeah, you were definitely wrong.
