Ahead of Arkansas and CCC for sure.
11-12 should be 8-9. We just beat a really good Duke team.
Should be top 10. Just beat an uber talented team ranked #6 on a neutral floor
I think we deserve to be top 10. I also want to add that I think that Duke team would wipe the floor with #1 Kansas. Kansas isn’t the #1 team by far…

We beat a potential NC team. We should be rewarded.

Yeah, hat would be a 13 position jump. Not gonna happen. I think we will be 10 or 11.
I think we will only drop a couple of spots since we BARELY beat Duke.
And Duke will rise to #1 since they endured a few injuries during the game.
The loss has already been cancelled out do to that.
Duke prolly rose in the NET while UK dropped do to Williams thunderous pick.
For anyone not named Kentucky it would be but they do this crap all the time to the Kings of CB.

I think alot of it was Cal hate right? I think alot of the stuff that happened at UK under him also happened when he was at Memphis.
Like I said in the other thread, I believe more people will jump on this UK teams bandwagon.
Coach Pope is coaching perfectly for today's game. UK has the experience and the type of players needed to win.
I follow all SEC basketball so I will admit I'm biased, but I dont see how anyone could deny UKs potential here. What's even better is that UK is working 12 new players in and the chemistry isn't even fully there yet which will change as the season progresses.

Since we were at 19 I think 18 is fair to them... To me any thing less than top 10 is total crap robbery....

We will move up 2-4 spots based on the idea that Duke wasn’t at full strength yet. And maybe they had some hurt guys (kind of) and they only got about 2-4 bad calls opposed to their usual 8-10. And it was a basically a home game for us. And Duke players didn’t sleep well. And tummy aches..And the sun was in their eyes.
For the first time in my life, I believe Duke shouldn't fall too far, maybe to 8th and we jump them to 6th.

3rd game of the season, we are 3-0. Rankings mean nothing. Higher rankings doesn't get you anything this early. I would like to see in all sports, no rankings until 1/3 of your games are played.
The next poll is not the one we should keep our eyes on. The one we should be looking out for is the week of the 8th. That will when UK comes off a 4 game home stretch where we play Lipscomb, Jackson State, Western Kentucky, and Georgia State, followed by a huge road game against Clemson.
We could potentially be 8-0 heading into our matchup with Gonzaga. We'd probably be a top 5-8 team at that point.

Was thinking similar. We have a nice run of games that should be wins, before getting to Gonzaga on December 8th. Had we lost last night, we probably drop to the mid 20s and likely don't move much until Gonzaga.. maybe 1 spot or 2 a week.
But now, we have the top10 win, and we should be somewhere in the low teens I'd think. If we take care of business we should be in the top10/top8 come Gonzaga. And looking ahead, despite the outcome of that game, we should be heading into the SEC top10.

Duke won't drop much. I'd say they will be about 8/9. We won't jump nearly that high.
Duke has two amazing offensive players who can score at will and prolly the best rim protector in the game. All their role players are athletic and play tough defense. We just beat a very good team that I believe will go to #1 by end of season. I think we will be lucky 13 next week and after the next five games will crack the top ten.
