lawsuits come to life/ be filed in the whole Lake Zurich hazing case?

You have to think some lawyer and/or multiple lawyers are waiting until say a few days before kickoff?

I would be shocked if there isn't something in the next 10 days about more lawsuits.

Out of court settlements will rule the day here. Still a lot of denials up here that none of this actually happened.

Many of the identified villains are on the active roster as the season starts.

That is impressive that not one kid got a code of conduct and has to sit games.

What's the opposite of a "thumbs up" for this?

Stirring the pot again I see.

No sir just have a feeling that this is far from over and everything points towards more lawsuits. Timing is everything in these cases and no bigger spotlight is on HS football than either kickoff, playoffs or state final weekend.

This isn't going away as much as the Lz people are hoping it will.

From what I understand the main kids behind this served in school suspensions during the winter and spring and were ineligible to play winter and spring sports.

I still have a hard time knowing they will be on the field week one at Fremd.

Quite interesting that the school punishment

A. seems to be on the serious side from a macro view (remember - schools cannot properly punish crimes - all they have is what is available to them and that is spelled out in their Rules with the maximum being expulsion is my guess)

B The school did not choose to make them ineligible for a full year (ie Winter Sport, Spring Sport AND FALL SPORT)

I have to wonder why they did not go for the full 12 months on ineligibility (have a good team for fall 2017 and don't want to weaken it?). I have to wonder if the school has their priorities re-aligned like they have been espousing in the media.

Seems to me that the accountability up there is nonexistent. Furthermore, it will be very interesting to see how it all shakes out. IMO it seems that those kids should of been hit with way stronger punishments. They are old enough to know right from wrong. All I can really say is I hope that the kids effected by it get the help they will need.
