i keep reading posts about certain people who vanish after a victory and at other times people who take breaks after losses.

Please have the nads to name names..otherwise you look like you're FOS.

To me it always seems like the usual crowd posting.......unfortunely. The exception being the occasional subscriber coming to the free forum to make sure we understand that we're complete trash (even though my spouse already makes sure I never forget).

Win or lose I am still here. I will admit I am not here as much after a loss because I don't like the venom being spewed. No problems with being critical, but this board goes way beyond that.

I am hopeful after the win....Still don't like DH....One game doesn't save him....Thought the D were the stars....Hoping we win out ugly or not.

Honestly, I'm never on here unless I am looking for some information. Like after 4 straight losses, and I'm worried about the state of the program. I get on here to read discussion to see if I can get some inside information about.....reasons for decline, attitudes of AD or boosters, legitimate excuses for decline, or simply just information I can't get in Ohio.

However, all I ever really see is very little discussion or legitimate information buried under posters condescension, name-calling, personal attacks, or pointless venting about Holgorsen and Luck. Each time I get on, I wished I hadn't. And I wish this board was more community and less conflict.

I vanished yesterday. Not because we won. Because the TV I needed to watch the game took a crap and I had to go buy one. And the only place that sales TVs in Logan County was too dang high. Had to drive to Charleston to buy one. Had dinner with some friends while I was their. I'm glad for the players that we won. But was thoroughly unimpressed with how we had to fight tooth and nail with a bad football team at home. Texas is gonna be ugly for us. Iowa State and K-State are toss up games and Kansas we should win. So the number of P5 teams with a winning record that we beat is gonna end up being one or two and could literally be zero? Sounds vaguely familiar. I was telling you guys at the end of last season (which was filled with moral victories because we had been awful in 2013) that we only beat two teams with a winning record. You can pound your chest after a win and call out the fans for not being here if you want. The numbers prove Dana isn't the guy and hasn't been for years.

I was not here on Saturday because I was at my son's soccer game and then had to go to watch grandkids in their football games. I really just got a chance to watch the recorded game last night. I was impressed by the defense in the first half and Smallwood is a beast. I have not watched a game this year that he has not run as hard as he could on every play. We still have some issues at the QB position but overall, it was a hard fought victory. Anytime the Mountaineers win, my weekend is much better.

I see that Warez took an exit recently. He told me he has no plan to return and is on a Greyhound bus. Lawd, he's traveling this morning. He's going to Shreveport and on down to New Orleans. In my opinion, he won't be missed but at least he's doing things his way.
