The CONVICTED FELON, who is AMERICAN, and how she illegally got a gun and shot a social worker in Vermont? I figured since you were quick to point out the murders from illegal immigrants you would be all over this as well........guess it didn't fit your agenda.......

I didn't even post the fact that an illegal immigrant was let go by a local sherif and subsequently raped and murdered a 64 year old woman. This hit the news a few days ago. This woman is dead because of a Democrat policies.

Lol. Criminals will get their hands on guns. We have over 300,000,000 in the U.S. More gun laws won't change this fact. Only the law abiding will obey the laws. The criminals are criminals for a reason, they break the law.

Murders are bad enough. Why condone such unnecessary murders when the criminal is in the country illegally and our government lets them stay even after they are caught.

Are you trying to draw comparisons to the tragedies at the hands of illegals to and somehow rationalize them? That's certainly the way it's reading.

NO, just giving him a piece of his own medicine. He blames Democrats for everything. So, I'm going to blame Republicans for everything. Weather, jobs, crime, doesn't matter. It's all their fault....[thumbsup]

Lol. Lives are lost because of Obama's executive orders and Sanctuary cities. Both Dem policies. Sad but true.

It's one thing when a keyboard crusader does it. A completely different thing when our President does, I mean after all, Republicans who disagree with the President are the same as the Mullahs who scream "death to America"

Who is the real problem here?

Sanctuary cities....that have been around during REPUBLICAN terms in office.....yet only the Democrats get the blame. Why didn't any of your beloved conservatives step up and quash these??????

It seems to be more of pointing out the hypocrisy. If he expects the president to talk about everybody that's murdered (OK, not everybody, just the ones that enter his consciousness through Faux News), then he himself should also give equal time.

Look over here, look what the democrats did ....
But what about this other thing? ....
I don't care about that, look over here at what the democrats did ...

It's against the law for a convicted felon to have a gun, right?

Apparently she didn't mind breaking the law. More gun control laws would probably have helped.

So by muddying the waters it dilutes their failures thus exhonerating them.

It's not about exonerating anybody. Failures and wrong doings should be recognized and those responsible should be held accountable regardless of what side of the aisle they fall on. Everybody ... EVERYBODY ... should be willing to do that if we ever hope to advance and get a better governing body.

The ideal would be if people would stop pointing across the aisle and instead point at those in their own party. "Look, you're in my party, I supported you and you represent me, but this **** you're doing now doesn't represent me at all and you need to stop." Instead of breaking down the other side, hold your side to a higher standard and I believe they will rise to meet it. Instead our standard seems to be "please don't be as bad as that other guy" (or gal)

I know it won't happen.

Regardless of what party you identify with you should strive to make them stronger and not by just having more seats but by making sure they are better people and legislators. If both sides do that, we all win. With what's going on now, we are all losing.

That requires a much more informed electorate.

Agreed, but just about every piece of information we'd ever want to know is at our fingertips 24/7. There's really no excuse to not be informed unless we just don't want to be. Unfortunately that seems to be the case with many/most. Confirmation bias.
