Credit to Palace…worthy winners. Glorified friendly but still, if a trophy is at stake you want to win it. Palace should challenge for Europe this year.

.SL Benfica here - I was at a match last year watching local fans throw flares onto their own pitch protesting their coach Roger Schmidt, who was eventually fired and replaced by Bruno Lage. It was weird. And apparently effective.
Ha yeah forgot that they were in Conference (should be the Europa League). I think they ought to be aiming for direct qualification though, not simply through the FA Cup. They are a hard side to play against and they’ve kept much of their elite talent. Wharton is utter class in the midfield.
Given how English sides rampaged through the lower level European leagues last year…I completely agree that Palace have every right to consider themselves Conference League contenders.
I think "Reply" here in On3 functions essentially as "Quote" in the way we're used to at 247. I have yet to use the Quote button...not sure exactly what it does.

Your answer is that the Gunners weren’t even remotely close to being that good today and………“One Nil to the Arsenal” at Old Trafford. Honestly United were pretty good today and their front line will be lot better this year with their signings.
Lots of these memes floating around but this is my favorite. Really happy for Chiesa…he’s way too good to be a bit piece but Slot isn’t the biggest fan and it’s insanely hard to get into the Liverpool attack at the moment.
United might have improved enough to crack the top half of the table this season. They still couldn’t lay a glove on an Arsenal side that dropped a 4/10 performance though.
Amorim knew their midfield was severely outclassed so he had them playing long balls to bypass a midfield battle. Smart move, but they were fortunate Arsenal were extremely sloppy/rusty in attacking transition.
Yea….that attack was brutal to watch at times, especially odegaard in transition. I feel like Leeds is about to get the full brunt of the squad at the Emirates this Saturday.

Finally getting a chance to watch the Liverpool Arsenal game. I think these two are clearly the class of the league…Arsenal have bought smartly. Zubimendi is a total metronome, controls the game from deep. Reminds me a lot of MacAllister. Eze should be starting for you going forward. Not really convinced by Gyökeres…Konate (who really put in a tremendous shift after two pretty shoddy games) and Van Dijk had little trouble marshaling him. Never seemed very dangerous…we’ll see. In general I was really happy with the Liverpool defense against an obviously quality side. Kerkez was really up for the fight with Madueke. Madueke and Eze will be a handful.

He was hard to listen to after a while but undeniably a character and fun in small doses.
