Another base hit and ASU has pulled its starter.

Wild pitch moves the runner to third
Grounder to short scores the game-winner, as the shortstop dives to smother it but then throws to first.

NU gutted it out. Wow!

NU tries to clinch Saturday night at 11 Eastern, on (I think) ESPN2.

I have to assume Williams gets tomorrow off to rest for a game three, but who knows. She’s earned a daylong nap.
