Shout out to our softball team…they are 15 - 0. The season is early, but it is refreshing to have a restart for this sport. The latest poll…they are number 17.

Correcting past recruiting mistakes, and getting players like Nealy Lamb from Cades S.C. after one season at Charleston Southern in, has helped the turnaround.

I must admit, I work somewhat near Cades, a lot of people were telling me about her, when she transferred, which is how I knew of her

Which begs the question, what the old staff was doing, when she was a High School recruit?

At the D-I level, organized recruiting is essential.

If all a coach wants to do is coach and teach, s/he is best off at a D-III or NAIA school. And there's nothing wrong with that.
