Brea is getting better but still can't create his own shot. Has to be open to really hit his shots. Best shooter on the team when he is set and open. Love to see him work on creating his own shots.

He gets guys out of position defensively easily — put it on the floor and go create ! Drive and dish .. drive and score , pull up for two .. don’t settle for being a gunner .

The funny thing is that with the start of that game, it looked like Jax was going to have a terrible night. Then he quietly went off.

I like that Williams has been more willing to mix it up. If I could suggest a couple additional areas to improve-
1) he needs to seek the contact on rebounds (get up under the guy he's guarding and box him out- rather than waiting to get shoved out of the way)
2) Rather than wasting fouls arm wrestling with players in the paint, play them straight up and instead use those 2-3 extra fouls being more aggressive/intimidating as a shot-blocking presence.

If Oweh ever develops the awareness on drives to see when he has multiple sets of eyes on him, we would be nearly unguardable.

Imagine if UK could actually get out to a quick start?! Very odd character trait for this team = slow starts. Not sure if it's the lineup, Pope's pre-game demeanor, or what, but they are not all that interested in racing out of the gates. Weird.

Almonor is that perfect role player that title teams have. I'm already picturing him hitting a huge three in the tourney.

He is definitely a catch and shoot type of guy. Some good screening and violent cuts would help him.

One of the things I love about this team is their unselfishness. Guys have accepted their roles. They take pride in their role.

Clearly the best 5 start. Almonor knows his role. Spot in the corner and nail them. Brea as well. Perry is improving right in front of us. Garrison is becoming a threat to shoot.

It is certainly to have a bench for once that has guys who can come in and make an impact in the game. Pope not afraid to use the bench depth rather than 6-7 guys who saw consistent minutes in the past.

As long as this team can keep Williams on the floor we are a very tough out. Foul trouble will be key against UT and Auburn. If Garrison has to play alot of minutes we will struggle
