Not a good start. Jackson isn't accurate early and if he can't get that straightened out, it's going to be a long disappointing game. Everyone has to step up, and so far nobody has. Two 3 and outs to start the offense. Now the defense needs to step up.

Deshaun Watson couldn't carry LJ's jock with both hands if he had your itty bitty help. Clearly you never played team sports as you have no understanding of how they work. I'm guessing you're another example of the good majority of clemson fans I saw tonight at the game - 400 lbs of **** stuffed into a 300 lb sack.

You have no understanding of how football works. All you do is go by stats. There is a ton more to playing quarterback that the video game highlight plays. Reading defenses, looking off primary targets, throwing into tight windows, etc. Chunking deep balls to wide open receivers and making jukes on the odd scramble aren't all there is to it.
The last time DeShaun Watson was on the field with Lamar Jackson, he won. The last time Watson was on the field in college, he was a national champion. Dabo said it right. Watson was the best player, and it wasn't even close. Enjoy your "stats."

Last time I checked - football was a 40+ player sport - meaning you better go about that deep considering O - D & STs. Are you really saying that UofL has had the better and deeper units than clemson the last two years?
I'm saying LJ is a better football player than watson - and outside of SC, everyone else said it as well. You understand that the thought can be mutually exclusive from which team is the best - don't you? Or is that too next level for you?
I can tell you that. Clemson's offense requires the quarterback to make reads at the line and set the protection. So Clemson would be screwed with Jackson, since he can't do that.
One flip side, Watson could have gotten Louisville to the playoffs last year.
The problem is, Jackson still isn't better. He faster, that's it. DeShaun Watson is a better football player. Simple as that. He's better at reading defenses, he's a better passer, and he's a better overall game manager. I'll say it again. Being able to run fast doesn't make you a good quarterback.
