Yes, I would be shocked and we all should be shocked the team like Troy has not given us problems this year and this team will come roaring back from the Alabama loss. I think it’s time for the fans to just grow a pair and say hey were uk and it’s march madness let’s effing go
Well I would maybe apply that logic if this was a vintage UK team that was dominant all year long.

Unfortunately that is not the case for this year's version.

Unfortunately we are a trendy upset pick. Almost everyone under 20 on social media views Kentucky as “always flames out in the first weekend” the same way we use to say tk never bet Vandy to get out of the first weekend regardless of seed.

I'm still waiting for them to interview and ask the same questions to guys like CJ McCollum and Ali Farokmanesh..

Something tells me I'll be waiting forever.
Yeah, I can’t figure out why Cal catches that heat but Self is teflon. Bradley. Bucknell. VCU. Northern Iowa. USC by 34 points. And that’s just off the top of my head. I mean, I know why Cal catches heat here and no one cares about Self. And I know why the media favor Self. But the average fan just wears out Cal for St. Peter’s and Oakland (“he always loses in the first round!” When he’s only done so twice), and doesn’t say anything about Self…….

Self just sweeps those games under his rug…

Cal's been hated by a lot of fans for a while due to his used car salesman image, so that's part of it. But I really haven't seen a lot of people or media making a big deal about Oakland and St. Peter's. It's been mostly UK fans who think those games were some unforgivable sin.

It's happened to literally every blue blood program and great coach, often multiple times. It's quite frankly surprising it didn't happen to UK sooner. For me, those games were never really anything other than the madness of March finally catching up to us. Having it happen in quick succession was tough to swallow, but it also happened twice in three years to Duke about a decade ago too. It happens.

according to some sources, Kentucky is the most likely 3 seed to lose in the first round. I sure hope that’s not how it goes. Fans would do a complete 180 on Pope, at least for a little while till he puts his new team together
This is more of an indictment of what Cal did to our brand, than it's a reflection of anything Coach Pope has done.
