Count me in on hiring Summers. All the present coach does now is just recruit the state of Ky the other coaches are the ones who is bringing in out of state talent. I think the Summers resume would be attractive to recruits. He would take 2 star players and have them coached up to out man handle Schlarman with a team of 5 stars.

The D Line not too hot either, but yeah, the O Line doesn't get much of a push, and on the quick sideline passes, there's hardly ever anyone making any blocks for the receiver.

The O line is doing work in the running game, and pass protection is better in the 2nd half. Boom must have 130 plus yards tonight. Jo Jo also has ran wild.

without a doubt, Kentucky's O Line is the worst O Line in Division 1 football history. LMAO, Its actually become laughable, and not funny at the same time

Talent excuse ain't flying tonight.

Just awful
El Gato Calvo!!!! i award you my POD (post of the day).... Had to get through a whole list of bull_ _it threads to get to the one that sums up that victory.... My sentiments exactly and it raises many a question....... Not a lot of them that I could answer... If you don't mind I'll start by asking these...
1) whats the difference between the Dawson and Brown blocking scheme.... and opinion of those differences...
2) how much of the pathetic line blocking is due to to the lack of Roll-outs?
3) Is it just me...We seem to run block better than pass? Why is this?
4) with pass protection this poor would our QB's benefit from some designed run plays? Read option stuff like last year...
5) My take on the game last night is simple.... Let DB play two season of ball with a O-Line like this and he'll face the same fate as PT...
Thanks EGC........

Everyone on the offensive line is a very good athlete. However, with one exception, they are not good enough to be called SEC caliber. So if you want to blame someone then blame their mommas an poppas for not passing along SEC genetics.

We may be changing that with recruiting but we won't know for another year or so. My apologies to those who wanted it to occur yesterday.

How many would love to have Mike Summers back coaching the OLine?
Was never as good at UK as Jimmy Heggins, who he replaced.

But we did get him from Florida State. South Carolina, Virginia tech, Miami (maybe LSU, Georgia) all will be making changes and we should take a serious look at who they make available.

I don't expect an sec line. I expect an ovc one though. And eastern showed we didn't have one of those either. So you can stick your sorries in a sack mister
