Something Not Mentioned About Today's Game... UVA is better.

Agreed. I said the same about last year's UVA team though about making noise in the dance because they looked so good throughout the season. Then history was made and UVA was on the wrong side of it.

This UVA team definitely seems like it has all the tools to finally make it over the NCAAT hump so we'll see. If they somehow choke very early again then that would be a big problem for them but I don't expect that to happen.

Thats pretty much the analysis with every loss with the exception of Pitt and Cuse (style mismatch) we just are not better in talent than these teams overall.

Virginia will lose early (relative to what their seeding) in the tourney like they always do. They’ll run into a team that stays hot from 3 all game and more importantly, they won’t get slurped by non ACC refs like they do in every ACC game.

It’s tradition. It’s as likely as springtime thunderstorms. I doubt it will be a sixteen seed though. They’re a very good team, but they always find a way to choke in the dance. But will be out early, probably earlier than UVA.

I could see this happening too. We have seen that movie before. They just look a lot better offensively to me this year than they have in prior years.

Virginia reminds me of Arizona until they won it all in 1997. Arizona lost some embarrassing first round games to teams like Santa Clara and East Tennessee State... Not that much better than what happened to Virginia last year.

Another similar team that had lackluster Tournament runs was Maryland, and they finally won it all.

If Virginia keeps getting top seeds in the NCAA Tournament year after year you have to figure sooner or later they'll get to a Final Four and maybe win it all.

Reality check, UK, UNC, Duke, FSU, Virginia, Marquette, and MSU all have better rosters than Louisville. When those teams play to their level Louisville can't matchup. When they don't play at a high level Louisville can beat them.

You know when you have a really good team is when they play poorly and still beat good teams. When they play good they crush good teams. The UNC game was where I thought Louisville might be better than I thought then the 2nd go around happened that is when reality set in. Louisville roster is full of guys that would be good role players on the really good teams.

Virginia is very good but they can be exposed. I think offensively they can make big runs easier than in the last. Hunter is legit. They have to quit turning it over though,

I agree. F UVA and their 4 corners offense. Yes I'm petty and I'm fine with that.

Edit for the trolls: Don't take my "4 corners offense" literally.

They’re legit. I knew it would be a tough out. Just didn’t think we’d have like 2 field goals. 15 points in the second half is some high school ball type ish.
