Not sure he's a good fit for Pope's offense tho he could be a good rebounder and rim protector

He could be what Traore was at BYU. Traore lived in a world where he was guarded 1 on 1 because everyone was too scared to help double him and leave a shooter open. Imagine someone trying to 1 on 1 guard him. It's not out of the realm of possibility.

If he has a low motor or struggles operating in sets, he won't be a good fit. If he's willing to move without the ball in his hand, set hard screens, he'll get his shot.

Would be a hell of a screener/garbage rebounder guy. Feast off putbacks and backdoor dunks.

Honestly, I liked Somto at OTE, but I can't see how he fits this style. He's a complete zero on offense. He makes Onyenso look like David Robinson.
He is a high school player with size and talent. It is rare for any high school player to be a finished product. I would like to see him stick, but I don't believe any of the younger players are finished products.

Love to keep them all…

But NO wants to win with someone else’s players ONLY….

Let Pope write his own story…. If cal players are apart it’s because pope recruited…. Don’t let it be cal players and pope….. just saying….
