Is Chubb expected back this year?

There hasn't been anything officially released, but he has been taking part in UGA camps, working with the campers and been doing all drills, cuts, jumps, sprints without any kind of brace or even elastic wrap. Of course that doesn't include getting hit, Just my opinion, from reading about his injury and doing a little research, he didn't tear an ACL, it was PCL an MCL, which aren't as big an injury according to what i read and recovery is 6-9 months back to pre injury stability, he is right at 8 months and looks great, doing squats with no brace, heavy squats. Now mentally who knows when he will recover there. Michel is expected to be out 8 weeks, 8 weeks till this Saturday till our opener. If neither can go, my guess is Elijah Holyfield, Evander's son, will be our starter. He is about the same size as Chubb, looked alot like Chubb in HS, was top back in Georgia last year and number 2 back last year. But a true frosh that. His carries might have gone from 4-5 a game to 25 a game if Chubb and Michel are both out.

GA just seems to have really bad luck when it comes to their best players getting hurt ALOT.

The injury to Chubb was ugly. Glad to hear good news about him. He is a joy to watch run.

Kirby is doing what every SEC coach feared the UGA head coach would do - locking down the state. If he can coach a lick, there will be a new king in the SEC-E.

Its not to the point of Kirby saying we want you and they come, but he is doing pretty well instate. Top DL in state is committed to Michigan, for now anyway, top RB committed to OU, looking good for the top 5 instate OL, a traditional Richt weakness, going to miss on some top instate DB, but about 6 of them in top 125, can't get them all. But it looks like its going to be harder to get kids out of Georgia anyway. 2-3 key kids in this class will be big tells on that
