Im a fcking idiot for thinking this coaching staff wasn't going to take last weeks win as a W on the season and come out and lay an egg on this game. Brent was playing not to get stroked and bring his next OC. It's been soft all night with defensive coverage and a bland offensive scheme.

He has one year to show something after this pathetic quitter mentality or he will be shown the door. Play to win or go somewhere else.

The State the OU Football Program is in right now it wouldn't surprise me if JJF is named OC for next year and Bauer Sharp QB1.
This whole staff is a shitshow and likely wouldn't win at a Community College.

I want BV to be sucessful but I just can’t see it happening. 6-7, 10-3, and likely 6-7 again. I think the only way my opinion changes about him is if he gets OU to at least 8 wins next season. Anything less I believe OU has to cut ties with him.

I wish they had the money to just end it now. Its inevitable anyway, the writing is on the wall. Sucks but it is what it is. Stupid Coaching decisions game in and game out.

According to the Soonersports radio guys, they do have the money but they basically said its the entire staff buyouts that are the issue.

Ironically they also said those buyouts could be monthly ones and not one lump sum. I like BV as a person from all accounts but just not sure that equates into being a HC.

The way Brent has managed this season, I don’t see why he gets a pass. He should go now, even with the injury issues. He just wasn’t ready for the job, IMO.

Totally agree.

On another note at least this gave me some enjoyment from Saturday. I always love it when TOSU has these kind of breakdowns. It is just a field dude - get over it.

Those things don’t bother me but I guess I am different as its just a celebration. Heck no one gets pissed when players celebrate, point at the crowd after TDs. I have seen worse celebrations after players make a big play during the game.
