the facts show that to not be true .ALL this is showing is how deep and talented this conference is . USC has 2 pro guards , Auburn has a 3 great college players , hell even Mizzou has one future Pro . UF has 4 future pros , LSU - 4 , UT -1 . The only team without one is MIss St . Name me one other conference that has that much talent AND HAS 8 TEAMS MORE THEN ANY OTHER CONFERENCE IN THE TOP 50 .

So, how many bids has the SEC pissed away so far this week. Three? It may be that one of them makes it because the bubble is so crowded that LSU bumps Ole Miss, or vice versa. Last I saw, Miss was one of last four in.

I'd rather see Murray with a chance. At least they would have a chance to win one.

I don't think that is a true statement some of these teams don't want to go home I think LSU came in thinking hmmm we got this whatever but don't agree that SEC sucks same thing said last year 2/4 final fours were SEC's :)

UGH..Dude, talent don't mean crap if the TEAMS suck. You can have all of the talent in the World, but still suck as a team. What part of that don't you understand ? Texas A&M choked !! Ole Miss choked !! LSU choked !! And they didn't just choke in this Tournament..they all choked and sucked when it mattered the most at the end of the season..it just carried over to this Tournament. A lot of the Coaches also suck in the SEC. The only good and great Coaches are Coach Calipari (The best Coach in the Country.), Mark Fox, Billy Donavon, Frank Martin, and Bruce Pearl...that's it. The SEC is better this year/season than in previous years..but that's not saying much as horrible as it has been for the past few years before this year. In MY OPINION..LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M ? NONE of them deserve to go to the NCAA Tournament this year. Kentucky (Obviously.) and Arkansas are the ONLY two teams that deserve to go to the NCAA Tournament. The SEC as a whole may not suck..but it's pretty bad overall..say what you want. UK is the only thing holding this crappy Conference together.

I would put Billy Donovan, Bruce Pearl, Frank Martin, Mark Fox, Calipari and even Tyndall, who has gotten a lot out of his team this year are the best of the league. stallings has also had his moments....

I don't care about the conference. I don't care to root for any of them. They don't root for us ever and neither should we. We don't get anything out of what they do.

Yeah, I added Billy Donavon at the last second. I'll wait to include Tyndall in that group after his second/third season. And Stallings..this year ? Sure. Overall though ? Those Vandy teams he had from 2009-2012 were damn good talent wise and he couldn't even get to the Sweet 16 in any of those seasons. They had guys like Festus Ezeli, John Jenkins, Jeff Taylor, etc etc...and never made it past the first weekend of the Tournament..lol So, you're right..Stallings has had his moments..but overall, he hasn't done squat when his teams suck talent wise and when his teams are damn good talent wise.

Yeah, that's true..I just think he does more with less than just about any Coach in the Country..and this year he's finally got some good talent and is taking them to the NCAA Tournament. And he also took Georgia to the NCAA Tournament in 2011..plus, his work at Nevada was impressive..taking them to multiple NCAA Tournaments. I mean, Nevada..Georgia ? lol

From top to bottom the SEC is probably the best conference. The mid to bottom teams are much better than I can remember

I have been watching other tournies as well and except for a couple of teams college basketball as a whole is practically unwatchable. At least some of the endings of the games in the SEC have been exciting.

The mid of the SEC is average and the bottom is absolutely pathetic. After UK, the SEC has 1 good team and about 5 okay teams. The rest is absolute garbage. Pretty much like every season.

Wrong. Arkansas beat SMU on the road and Dayton. UT beat Kansas st. and Butler. South Carolina beat Iowa St., Clemson and Oklahoma St. Alabama beat ucla. Auburn beat Oregon st. and Xavier. LSU beat WVU on the road. Ole Miss beat Oregon and Cincy. Vandy beat Purdue. It's a good league.

40 spots in the last 10 FFs.

Big East - 9
Big Ten - 8
SEC - 7
ACC - 4
Pac-12 - 3
Big-12 - 2 (What? How can that be?)
Horizon - 2
CAA - 2
AAC - 2
Missouri Valley - 1
Conf USA - 1

ACC with ZERO teams in the last 4 Final Fours, but the SEC gets all the flack. And I'm not saying the SEC is better than anyone is saying. But it does have almost twice as many FF spots in the last 10 yrs than the ACC, and more than twice as many as the P12, and the best conference on the planet, the B-12.

I'll see you with all of those good wins and raise you with garbage losses to Charleston Southern, Western Kentucky, Coastal Carolina, Clemson, Florida St., Georgia Tech., Old Dominion, TCU, Marquette, Mcneese St., South Carolina Upstate, and Arkansas St..LOL Yeah, that's losses the SEC has took this season. And I'm sure there are more..I stopped looking at teams' schedules after a while.

So what conference other than the big least with 18 teams and the big 10 put more than 2 teams in the Final Four? Youguys make no sense with your conference bashing when the facts show the SEC is as good as any other conference

Me personally ? I just get sick and tired of almost every team in the SEC playing UK like it's do or die..and then basically play like they don't give a crap about the rest of their 31 games..or at least the majority of their other 31 games.

Yes, but none has as many. There's a reason the RPI and Sagarin has the SEC ranked fifth. That's not some media conspiracy. That Kenpom's second best team is ranked 31st. Only three teams in the top forty. We are a conference of NIT teams. Tennessee and south Carolina and auburn aren't good teams. But the crap SEC teams who aren't Kentucky aren't coached well enough to show up night in and night out.

Look at auburn. Are they the hottest team in the country? A buzzsaw rounding into shape that others are unlucky enough to meet? Hardly. They lost six in a row coming into the tournament. Eight of their last nine. This isn't auburn turning it on as much as Texas A&M and LSU crapping the bed when games with meaning are played. No other major conference has their twelfth best team make the semi-finals.

Does anyone think anyone other than Kentucky and maybe Arkansas wins a game in the tournament?

Yea the other conferences are full of power houses like Ga. Tech, Nebraska, IU, Fla State, Northwestern, USC, Stanford, etc. The only difference between the SEC and everybody else this year is that Florida is down. All conferences only have two or three upper level teams and a bunch of chumps. SEC is only down at the very top.

Oh my ,the SEC is ranked 5th out of 31 conferences, that's terrible,
Like somebody else said, you guys need to hang out with the UL guys more ,because you sound just like whiny, little pecker,UL fans.

Top to bottom the SEC is just as strong as any conference, The Big 12 blows, the Big !0 blows, the ACC has 4 good teams and the rest suck, obvios you guys listen to UL forums and the idiocy they spew

UK has 96 97 98 11 12 14 for 6

Florida has 4 final fours in that period.

Lsu 1

Mississippi state has 1

That make 12 in the last 20 years.
