This is true.

I get it's not the end of the world, but if there had to be a 4-way tie for second to determine the 2-4 seeds, of course we were in it and end up being the odd man out.

And, of course, UT screwed us 2x in 4 days, lol. We still get a bye and SHOULD advance to the quarterfinals anyway and that matchup is likely unchanged from what it would have been if we were the 4 seed.

I was thinking something similar tonight. Yes, this is a very Gamecock thing. Fortunately, of all the Gamecock things that could happen, getting screwed out of a top 4 seed at an SEC tournament that doesn't really matter probably isn't that big a deal.

On the other hand, I also thought that Cordoso's bank-in 3-pointer today to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat was very un-Gamecock-like.

We got hosed all the way around. Will probably have to play Arkansas who is playing as good as anybody right now. Then if you win that game you have to play Auburn and we all know how that turned out last time. So not only did we get screwed out of the double bye, we get a tough draw in the bracket. The SEC Tournament is a bonus for us even if we are a 5 Seed or a 4 Seed. We are in for the NCCA Basketball Tournament! Wow, Lamont will be SEC Head Coach of the year and probably National Head Coach of the year!

Since we don’t have the double bye…We win one extra game in the SEC Championship. We will get it done!

This is a Championship type team!!! Let’s not have media and pundits take over the great accomplishments we have had in year two with Coach Paris.
