I’m fine if it’s not a mid major in the traditional sense, but St. John’s is not a power program. Western is top 15 all time wins. They’re a mid major

tbf, the 21 team was a little better than their record. Bad enough that Cal shouldn’t have been brought back after that, but i think they finished top 50 in kenpom. They lost a bunch of close games against a really rough schedule. If they had the benefit of the cupcake games they probably finish closer to .500.

Yeah guarantee is probably always stretch. Even that 13-19 team in 1989 had their moments.
St. john’s is comparable to tennessee historically i’d say. Probably a little better because they actually have a runner up and more all time wins.

Great post. I agree need a backup PG. But in today's environment that is not as easy as it sounds. Lowe was brought in to start. Any player good enough to make a difference one that has any aspirations of play professional in the US or abroad. Simply doesn't wanna go to any school to be a backup.
