I'd guess the next step is more litigation. CFL/UFL would be options, but I'd think that if litigation fails, he'd pass on those and wait for the 2027 NFL draft.

The UFL season ended in May and the CFL season started the beginning of this month.

To clarify, meant joining a CFL team now, or next season’s UFL (in March). Though UFL does run injury risk, so unlikely (the spring leagues were playing a bit earlier previously, but timing does work as well now).

Just a guess? Come on, put some money on it!!!
I don't gamble; no pun intended. However, I suspect that the same corrupt people like the judge that overturned the NCAA's ruling will find a way to get him back on the team because their season probably largely depends on him being the starting qb.

Okay, no supplemental draft, exactly how does this happen? Either 1) NFL did not allow the supplemental draft to happen, or 2) the draft was allowed but no team put in a bid.

The NFL decided not to have a supplemental draft this season, and specifically cited insufficient time to fully investigate Sorsby's issues. It is my understanding that the NFL has no obligation to conduct a supplemental draft.

Thanks for taking the time.

This whole thing is just comical at this point. Hopefully he gets a nice job at Wendy's. He can work on being the next Junior Bridgeman without the pro career

t
FWIW.

Yeah I don't see any case here for claiming the NFL didn't have the right to deny him. The letter is very clear.

Maybe he shouldn't have bet on football...

Life sometimes really is that simple

Something I didn’t quite understand (although it makes perfect sense once you think it through): Sorsby can’t become a free agent because he didn’t put himself up for the draft.

Yea, that’s great. I’m excited.

jeezus h, this guy bet on his own f’in team. Maybe he can take the Browns and throw 4 picks.

The Steelers would have to literally put him on house arrest with no WiFi for their own sanity.
It doesn't mean I want the guy for the Stillers but merely pointing out the Stillers QB room is lousy.

No he's done in college. Even the Texas Tech clown administration recognize the colossal PR blunder bringing him back would be.
