Screw the injury insurance. What the hell is he insuring for? Dude is making more money next year than he would ever make in the Canadian Football League or whatever he goes to next.
IF he’s playing for us he better have it. IF you can get a disability policy for say a couple of percent of your projected future earnings as a professional QB, you might be guaranteeing yourself millions of dollars after college.

Not really, it's market rate for the best qb in the portal. And it also makes sense when Texas Tech is a qb away from winning playoff games. Their qb this year wet the bed when it counted.
It can be both market rate and crazy. But if you got billionaire boosters and effectively no rules.

I don't blame the kids at all for chasing that kind of money.

It's not just billionaire boosters. If NU was in a stronger position where a QB is the difference between a playoff spot or not, I would have liked us to make an attempt at him. Landing senior QB's has been paying off mighty well for Miami for example.

Keep in mind Beck's NIL deal was reportedly 3.1M. So yes, working out great. But they still paid him.

Keep believing thatđŸ¤£
Keep believing that we were paying only $1 million to "The Second Coming", when he was being tampered with last offseason, and he required $2 million/yr to be brought in as a freshman. People like you have zero understanding of how the NIL market works.

My information comes from one of the guys writing checks. Sit this one out.

You've made up enough lies that I don't know why anyone on this board would believe you. Despite your claim, you still got it massively wrong and have zero credibility.

it's interesting how quickly the sec has fallen once nil/portal came to pass. the bagman died. buried at toomer's corner. i mean five years ago who would have believed a qb would have taken txt over lsu? the league is also down to its last cfp team and had a miserable bowl season. presently, the b10 is the dominant football conference.
