Massive historic win for North against Maiden as well. Who ever knew.....I mean who knew?? The last thing a North player wants to do now (as well as a dedicated fan) is roll up to Newton next week overconfident and slack. Keep in mind, Newton beat West. West was beating North at the half and North had to really fight and come back to win by only 10.

On paper, a real barn burner next week. 2 things that made EL and Maiden suspect coming into these games that turned out a heavy North bashing which I thought COULD happen and DID- Maiden lost to SCaldell. South ain’t bad but no we’re near what they used to be 5 to 7 years ago. EL, well they never really played anybody or really beat anybody prior to the North game.

Newton has athletes and can make a stand next week if North let’s em. I’d be careful bout Bandys too if I were North. But I’m happy for these boys and looking forward to a great possible long playoff run. Bring on Hibriten and Burns n Shelby.

Largest victory over the Wolves ever? If so congrats on that win an historic stat. Don’t worry, West will never own the series. By the time they do, the city of Lincolnton will look like a scene from the Jetsons ha ha.

South Point beat us 49-0 in 2017 and I’d think there are others.
The worst I ever heard of a team losing from this County was North Lincoln at Starmount. Can’t recall the exact score but Starmount scored over eighty points and North scored very little. The year was 2003 and the Knights had very few upperclassman.
I believe it was North’s first year.

In reference to another post I am convinced North and West are good solid teams. All the best in the playoffs.

I was speaking of largest win point spread between West Lincoln and Lincolnton. But still good to know bout the other schools and their point spread history ha ha.

North has had their share of beat downs so this has been a good long time coming for the community that I’m sure nobody saw ahead of time a few years ago.

It doesn’t shock me that North is doing well. North is made up generally of students who would have attended Lincolnton and East. Add to this a good coach and you begin winning.

West Lincoln going on the road and hanging 54 is impressive, but the way you wrote that makes it sound like last night was the biggest points spread ever between the two teams and it was 40 points which is still a bunch. In 1992, Lincolnton won by 60 plus and played their JVs most of the second half. Those JVs went on to win the state championship the next year. I don't know if that was the largest point spread as many of these games have been one-sided affairs in the past just like this game.

So west has suffered many a beat downs from Lincolnton. The game last night was the biggest margin of victory by West. Yes Lincolnton has beaten us many times by more than 40. I honestly thought the game would be closer. Props to Lincolnton for giving it thier all under thier current circumstances. As for North, they are a good solid team all around. I'm cheering for them now and anyone left to play Newton. We need to win out and Newton to lose out to grab second place. We still have a tough 2 out of 3 ahead of us. Bandys and East wont be easy. What I noticed last night about Lincolnton is no size on the line and no one has really stepped up to be a leader. They have rebuilding to do and will get it done. Respect for the wolves.

Heres an interesting thought..... 2 3A schools in Lincoln County. Combine North and East. Combine West and Lincolnton. That would be a battle every season. Wow.
