Season is rolling along too fast I tell ya. Still have yet to see a game but I love talking bout em and hearing about em lol. That’s why I make this post cause this conference don’t get talked about enough or not like it used to. Big one with NL and EL. Should be a post all by itself but leave it here if you can folks.

Here we go:

Lincolnton and Bandys- normally when these 2 get together or at least in years past it was for area supremacy or battle for conference 1st in a Rocky vs Apollo back and forth type game. Don’t know the series but I’m sure Lincolnton owns it. Well it’s all Bandys in this one 35-14

Newton Conover and WLincoln- the Newton boys have showed they lost some talent but can still be dangerous enough to stay in games with the right play calling. WL has proven they belong and won’t let up. Not even against more athletic teams. West in a thriller 28-21

NL and EL- battle for the county championship or tie and one to watch. North only has 1 win in this series and has never taken the county. May be their last chance unless Bazzle rebuilds an with a good JV behind him it’s possible. Speed is hard to stop. But so is Clayton Cribb. Anybody’s game if Norths D shows up. Possible upset but I’ll go with East in a defensive showdown 14-7

Maiden and LNC- only if your kids playing, your daughter cheering, or your just that obsessed. All Maiden by whatever. Get some good practice in so they can at least squeeze into playoffs if possible.

Some pretty obvious predictions in this conference. Most questionable would be North and East. Was extremely blown away last year when I was on way to a revival and heard the North score against East. East came back though.

Anyone at the NL game that sees how LNC scores twice in first quarter? That’s only thing making them suspect heading into the East game which is prob why everybody is picking them. It could go either way especially to the team that plays the most misktake free and wants it more. Don’t count North out. Saw East lost to Forestview and they’re only 2-5. But I know it’s against good teams so no need to tell me lol. I hadn’t heard much detail bout East in a while, someone comment.

West will push Newton around and have their way. If they have a hard time against the run they will def have their hands full with this one. But it’s possible it could go other way too.

Wow. This conference is gonna be a crazy finish. I see West or Bandys winning it.

I see a two or three way tie. West will lose one more, to Bandys. What a game it would be if Bandys and North win out and meet for the last game of the year. Looking at their schedules, Bandys' gets easier while North's will be a challenge. Be an interesting finish for sure. One other fact I learned tonight, North's JVs are scorching the conference. Laid it to East's JV 45-6 Thursday.

Told y’all man. Don’t count North out. This year they let off the gas alittle bit but they actually kept it on just enough to finish. Happy for those boys. Last year finishing was their problem. Other than the Newton game they never lost by much any other time. This time they capitalize

As of now is this the first Lincoln co championship they have one or if they lose to Lincolnton it’d be a tie? EL already got Lincolnton and North took West and East. Should be outright and on to conf finish top outright if they win out.

When they beat us it will be their second out right one I believe. I can't remember if they beat east in 06 or not

They was winning(06’) but Trent Hopkins went out of the game and it went downhill from there. I don’t believe they’ve ever won a conference crown or a county championship. This will be the year to do it and seeing the remaining games if Cribb gets his 3rd and 2 conversions and defense holds(unlike last year) they will be on their way. Only game they outright lost this year was to AC. Who as you can see has been big time overrated. North prob came out flat on that game and if they played later in season might be closer. TJefferson, a ranked 1A team they prob shoulda won. Rock soild defense is their key to victory. Don’t be surprised if they have Hibriten 1st or 2nd round. It’ll get ugly but no need for any fans to hang their heads. It’d be an honor to step out on the feild with those boys I’m sure.

I'm impressed with North. Bazzle has done wonders over there in such a short period of time

North will win the county title this year for the first time ever. Im not kidding when I say we probably won't beat Lake norman charter.

They better worry about Maiden first....look too far ahead of your fee and you're going to trip and fall.

Maiden will be a very tough test. I know nobody can go on team A beat team B so team C shouldn’t have a problem. Maiden always plays North really tough. If North defense shows up like at WL game it may not be a big problem. Maiden fans have even said the offense isn’t moving the ball very well this year. I’m not sure if North has even beaten Maiden before. Maybe once during the Beam years if I’m not mistaken with a good running back in Kenny Raymer. He had good highlights against Maiden but not sure who even won the game.
