South Point's 6'7" 300 lb offensive lineman Sullivan Absher receives an offer to play football at Clemson. Rivals has ranked Absher the #22 offensive tackle in the nation. Because of his relationship with Coach Robinson at Clemson and Tanner Muse's family it is expected he will sign a letter of intent with Clemson. Good luck to the big man!

The term you are looking for is chop block. And yes there are times South Point gets flagged for it. Usually no more than once or twice a game. The majority of games in the last five seasons that hasn’t been called at all. S & G you just keep doing what you do and thinking what you want.. That young man is way to talented to have to resort to playing dirty.

Tell me with a straight face that SP doesn't illegally chop block every play. GTFOH with that. Just saying if he wanted to actually play in an offense he should transfer to East Gaston. Hard to get better when you dive on the ground every play.

Hey S & G, South Point doesn’t illegally chop block every play.! By the way, since you don’t even know what a chop block is, how is it that you think you know it’s illegal. Go try and haunt another thread.

There are already about (20) D1, Power 5 conference schools in line for Sully that see no issues with the offense he is in and the way he represents himself.

And how pitiful is it that your team gets curb stomped year in year out by linemen who simply dive on the ground every play. Seems like those over in Mt. Holly would just go around them given so simple.

well it is a cut block...not a chop block. It is how blocking in football was in the beginning...and now that football has become half women's sport many do cry over it. It's a physical style of play and many just can't deal with that in these modern times. Yes, 2-3 times per game SP is flagged for it....and usually 1 of those flags is inaccurate.
