Southern Miss Spring Game

Southern Miss has their spring game on Saturday. The score was 10-7. The starting QB took snaps with the 2nd string. Interesting.

Sounds like their top QB is settled so they were trying to see how the 2nd team guy would do playing with the 1st team offense. Probably is why score was so low.

After reading that article I am inclined to agree. Offense should be their strong point but, for better or for worse, they are putting in a new system under a new OC. [winking]

OTOH, their new coach is a former USM assistant coach that came up under the defense and smash mouth style of play under long time coach Jeff Bower.

This is easy to figure out. Lewvile has made a killing off 2nd stringers to beat us, and why not try until we prove we can stop the #2 guy. lol Look who is there, our old oc and he had no idea what he was doing last year, nuff said. GBB
