LWE (2-0) @ Andrew (1-1) - Andrew has a dominating win over Bloom and a close loss to Thornton. LWE? You already know about these guys. Griffins roll.

LWC (2-0) @ Thornwood (0-2) - The former #1 team in the Joliet area should have no problems dispatching of a struggling T-Wood. Knights for the win.

H-F (2-0) @ Stagg (2-0) - Joe Ganz is not walking through that door so Stagg will hit this stumbling block, but as still on pace for a post season run. H-F clicks their ruby red slippers 3x and comes home to a victory in this trap game.

The Brook (2-0) @ Sandburg (1-1) - Eagles somewhat hung with a highly ranked Lyons and got a close decision over Curie and will be looking to gain steam. Raiders with their 3rd consecutive road game will undoubtedly be facing the home cooking (tradition doesnt graduate) but come out with the W in Orland.

Lincoln-Way West (1-1) @ Bradley (1-1) - Bradley lost an unexpected game to their neighbors up the block as did LWW. Bradley squeaks this one out by less than a score.

Thornton (2-0) @ Lockport (1-1) - TT has only allowed 13 points this season. The competition takes a step up however. Both schools need this win for a playoff birth likely. I like Lockport so edge out the Wildcats.

Dunbar (0-2) @ Thornridge (2-0) - Dunbar forfeited week 1, but played last week. T-Ridge captures the win.

I'm going with

LWBeast in running clock
LWC in a running clock. need that record to be good Central! Please knock off LWE.
HF
Da Brook
Bradley
Thornton
T Ridge.

The thing I don't like about this Conference is that each team doesn't play each other once.
I mean WTF LWC doesn't play HF or Bolingbrook this year? Did I read that correctly? Why not break into two 9 team divisions and add WV/NV/MV/NN/NC?

The travel times for contests on weeknights would be prohibitive. Too many late nights. Drives that may require I-80 or 294 are too unpredictable, also.

I'm originally from the State of Washington (central Washington) and when you get out of western Washington (Seattle Tacoma) there is a ton of space between cities. I went to high school in central Washington and the Conference we played in was called the Big 9. All the schools were "largest size" schools but there weren't that many of them outside of Seattle/Tacoma on the western side of state or Spokane on the far eastern part of the state

So check out these travel times:
Yakima Washington (2 schools)
Tri cities Washington (4 schools)
Wenatchee Washington (1 school)
Walla Walla (1 school)
Moses Lake (1 school)

Wenatchee to Walla Walla 6 hours
Yakima to Walla Walla 4+ hours
Yakima to Tri Cities 1.5 hours
Yakima to Wenatchee 2.5 hours.
Tri cities to Wall Walla 2.5/3 hours.

Baseball was absolutely brutal. So were away games football to Walla Walla (getting home at 3am Saturday morning).

While not desirable - the drive from Naperville to Frankfort with traffic once a week would not be "prohibitive" from my view.
