Contain..contain..contain....Clover runs the sprintout pass in both directions...DE or LB has to fight thru and crash the party on the edges...pressure on their qb is a must....Hoping Gaston County can get another win this week over the South kakkalaki's...
Wow it seems like 2016 all over again.. Not the same hhs team but very similar. Hope they both make it to that game! Paybacks comming!!
SP needs a little John Devine discipline right now. When you are outmanned athletically every week you have to win and capitalize with X’s and O’s. Right now SP is struggling to do so. Penalties, attitudes and sideline bickering prevailed tonight. Someone needs to get ahold of some face mask and ask a couple guys if they really want to play football.

Al Bundy's character was fiction. HHs issues are not fiction. Your problem with SP and their program is 1) you ain't welcome 2) you ain't good enough 3) you believe in hype vs. substance.
SP is substance. Hype can go elsewhere and continue to get beaten. Individual over self is a antithetical to real football teams but I'm sure you are a big believer in 1-2 players making up the team. That's why the NFL sucks. That's why so many HS programs suck. This year HH finally does have a crop of good athletes that can play. Congrats. Good for those boys. It only took about the last 15 years to get there.

And a new coach to provide some lift....i thought HH needed a change....Glad to see some new life and enthusiasm....Since playing in Huskie Blue in the Western 4A in the early 80's...in which the atmosphere and support was great imo...I would have thought , or at least hoped they would have hit paydirt one year ringwise...nope..so its been frustrating...ive also seen many games in Belmont a few yrs back as i was married into the program and watched a stepson play...could only wish Huss had a supportive program like SP does...you have to respect it...plus was fun to watch...maybe someday the Electricity will retun to the West side...seems like its trying to turn the corner..
You are probably right llucky. They used to be a monster....then FV opened and Gastonia football has been dog crap ever since. Looks like they have something going on right now - that's good to see. I wish more GACO programs delivered a whole lot more instead of going through the motions.
