So she was a democrat and now she is a republican.
Fascinating.
I believe you.I'm glad she's not bringing shame upon the democratic party any more and glad she's now "officially" a republican.
You do realize she was still elected by democrats?I'm glad she's not bringing shame upon the democratic party any more and glad she's now "officially" a republican.

It's the union folks. They had no idea why they were democrats, but by God they were and there was no telling them otherwise.she said she switched because 'the dems no longer represented her'. Uhmmm......they never did sweetheart.
This is typical of various southern George Wallace-type dems that tow the conservative line but have no clue about the national picture.
What do Kim Davis and the Pope have in common? They are both intolerant, homophobic bigots.
The Pope? Have you not been paying attention the last six months? LOL. You're giving PATX and neil a run for their money as dumbest posters.
It neither makes them homophobic nor a bigot. What? They both are against gay marriage. That makes them both homophobic bigots.
It neither makes them homophobic nor a bigot.
Not sure who made the point but it was a good one IMO. The religious right messed up by going after Gay Marriage. They should have gone after marriage being removed out of the state as it's a religious ceremony. In the eyes of the state, everyone should just have a civil union and then leave it up to the individual churches or Priests/Rabbis/Pastors/etc. on whether they want to perform an actual ceremony. Regardless, not being in favor of gay "marriage" doesn't mean you hate gays, it means you support the sanctity of the scripture. There is a big difference.
I'm personally in favor of Gays having the right to being legally recognized by the state as a union and to be afforded the same protections and rights as straight unions. I am also in favor of any religious institution who chooses to not perform these ceremonies, but at the same time, support churches who choose to. Catholic churches will refuse to conduct marriages in the church if both are not Catholic. I do not agree with businesses having a right to refuse their service based on prejudicial and discriminatory reasoning, religious or otherwise.
