64% or 21k of a total of 33k due to suicide

35% or 11.7k due to homicide of which:
26% are caused by whites
56% are caused by black
16% are caused by Hispanic
2% are caused by Asian/Native American

Leads me to conclude we have an issue in the lower socioeconomic areas and one hell of a mental health problem.

Mental health is a huge issue that isn't being adequately addressed in this country at all.
