Specifically how is Wisconsin better than FF last year?

We beat them last year without a rim protector.

This year we have 2.

We can play them a lot tighter on the perimeter now without fear of getting beat off the dribble.

Exactly, yet everyone on here acts like they are awful and no match for us. Love how we try and jinx ourselves. We act like no one stands a chance against us and what is that a recipe for? That team kicking our ***. Wiscy is damn good. They absolutely can beat us.

Lots of teams could beat UK on a given night, even some SEC teams came close. But you have to like our odds against anyone.

If you want to be afraid look for the matchups that have beat Cal's teams in tourney's passed. Teams with ultra quick guards and serviceable bigs (athletic) that can break down our defense. Teams that drag the bigs out can make it a closer game, but as we saw against GA this team will figure that out. Teams that zone can slow down the offense, but this team won't settle for jumpers all night and will break through the zone.

The only real fear is a team that score on our defense. To that you have to have guards break down the perimeter defense like Kimba Walker and that other UConn guard.

I've said this in multiple threads. I watched the game friday (thanks to the Ukbasketballlive website) and Wisconsin will utilize screens and shot fakes. Watched most of OSU yesterday. Pretty similar team to last year. We were down 9 in the second half and ripped off a 16-0 run, pretty much due to athleticism. They couldn't handle it. A lot of it was James Young utilizing a curl from the right corner, off a screen to get a 12 footer. Andrew and Aaron did their head down eurostep which was sometimes effective (it won the Wichita State game). However our big runs were when there was good passing first. Man iso did not work.

I look for Booker and Lyles to be very effective in this game as they do well creating a shot.

They have the national player of the year in Kaminsky who was just finding his confidence as a player last year when we played. He now has become comfortable at being the number #1 option on his team this year BUT obviously willie didn't play in the game last year so that's a toss up. Willie has been lazy with his close outs lately and Kaminsky is shooting 42% on 3's for the season right now. Also Sports Illustrated posted an article today with quotes from Wisconsin players who say the Final Four loss has been there motivation all off season and this season so they will be extra fired up for the game. There biggest weakness is containing penetrating guards off the bounce...Maryland's Trimble and Wells ate them alive but Andrew is the only player on our team who can consistently exploit that weakness.

Seriously, this. They are better on offense (most efficient in the country this year) and defense (slightly better than last year).
