He is a top-flight recruiter, but you have to ask yourself: you give K that talent, how many ships does he have? I say at least 3Nets are perfect for Cal, they are 2nd rate team in NYC. Cal is 2nd rate to Coach K so he's used to being a small star.
Why would he leave UK. He's already got them trained and conned. If he left he would have to do the same to a whole new fan base. OFC
I'd have to somewhat disagree. Not all of Cal's players would have fit the Duke mold. K gets players that can be coached his way. His results with Cal's kids may not have been so different. He is a top-flight recruiter, but you have to ask yourself: you give K that talent, how many ships does he have? I say at least 3
After not taking the Bulls, Pelicans, or Cavs job where he would have coached 2 of his best former players or Lebron, I cannot possibly forsee him going to the toilet bowl they have in New Jersey right now.
I believe you mean the toilet bowl in BrooklynAfter not taking the Bulls, Pelicans, or Cavs job where he would have coached 2 of his best former players or Lebron, I cannot possibly forsee him going to the toilet bowl they have in New Jersey right now.

Born in Jersey and live half-time in NY, so I could take offense, but I won't.Eh. It's all the same![]()
I still would not call him the best recruiter of all time, its not hard to sell what they allow at UK. Play 1 year, a very minimal class prerequisite, if any and bolt to the League. Thats not hard to sale to an 18 year old that only wants to play in the league. UK and all the fans have bought into his program and education does not interfere with there dreams. He has commented on his players majoring in NBA, nothing else.Cal is a great recruiter, maybe the best in the world of all time. How will that relate to coaching a team of basketball players that he didn't recruit.
If you're going to bash an educational system, please, at least use the proper form of "their".I still would not call him the best recruiter of all time, its not hard to sell what they allow at UK. Apparently you did not attend an educational system or your comprehension lacks greatly. I did not bash UKs educational system I merely shared my opinion on how Calipari sales his program to 17 and 18 yr old kids that are OADs.If you're going to bash an educational system, please, at least use the proper form of "their".
