I'd love that but it just doesn't make any sense for him.
If he goes and gets drafted on the 3rd, which is probably best case this year, then he’s locked in around $900k for the next 4 years. I’ve seen reports of him currently making much more than that with NIL. This QB class is brutal, whereas next years looks more more favorable. Also, a mid-low 1st rd pick is at $3-$5M/yr. That’s a huge discrepancy. NIL is changing everything. Just need to get Joe Rice back on the golf course with Ratt!

I was not a Rattler fan after watching QB1. I felt like he bullied his backup and was generally a me first guy. My opinion has softened during his time in Columbia. He has matured and I haven't seen any of the attitude that was so off-putting on QB1. He seems like a solid dude and a good teammate.

Yeah. I think he’s leaving, just saying I wouldn’t be shocked to see him come back. There are reasons to come back that didn’t exist a few years ago.
