I’ve always liked Spencer but he developed this annoying habit of saying “nice” in the middle of a play. He did it like 20 times.
It always made me expect a big play every time.

Did anyone else notice that? I’m old so maybe I’m just crotchety.

This has only been covered multiple times. Either buy a ticket to the game or turn the volume down if you don’t like the announcers.

Yes, a lot of people have already commented on this so you are not alone.
I like Spencer too despite that.

Just rewatched game last night- both announcers were awful. Tillman seems like nice guy but it’s almost like he never played. His football takes were limited and those he gave were often times wrong. No Time spent on research- he didn’t even know our single digit jerseys are merit based- went on and in about #8 being an odd number for a tight end. So weak and lazy-Benning would have run circles around him.

Tillman loved NU and came very close to enrolling here. But he wanted to major in Petroleum Engineering, so Coach Osborne encouraged him to go to Oklahoma, where they have a great program. NU doesn't have one at all.

At times I was confused at what he was saying nice about
I believe it was on one of the screens in the first half he said something like "oh no!". I wasn't sure if he didn’t understand we let their guy go free, or if he saw the screen developing and thought he was in for a big play. He's an odd listen for sure.
