Spinoff: Hoosiers the movie and how you improve it

How would you improve that movie, without moving setting to Kentucky?

My suggestion is to remove the entire Barbara Hershey character (uninteresting, poorly cast and not enough tittie balls) in favor of More Jimmy Chitwood doing Steph Curry training drills.

Or, having Dennis Hopper shooting heroin instead of just being a common drunk.

Have Gene Hackman slaps around a few more people like he did in Mississippi Burning. The Dennis Hopper character could have used a few slaps, along with some of the officials.

Gene Hackman dies about 11 seconds into the movie (chokes on something, don't care what, just suffocates and he dead). Tom Crean replaces him and they lose to Poseyville by 60. Then Dennis Hopper blows up the team bus when it fails to exceed 30 mph on those dirt Indiana roads.

Set it in New York, and Jimmy Horowitz is recruited by Syracuse. Jimmy gets offended because Rafe wrote a paper about Hitler in English IV, and offended his Jewish heritage. Coach Dale tells Jimmy to grow some balls, and Jimmy starts a #NotMyCoach movement. After refusing to stand for the national anthem to protest unfair treatment of his Jewish brethren, Jimmy is kicked off the team for actions detrimental to the team, and never realizes his dream of going to college to major in gender studies. The ending credits are a where are they now where Rafe is head of a Fortune 500 company, and coach Dale died of a cocaine fueled orgy after winning his seventh state championship. Jimmy is seen alone in his bedroom, crossdressing, eating Blue Bell ice cream and contemplating suicide. It wins eleventy academy awards for taking a classic and reinventing it to tell the real life struggle of the courageous SJW.
