I have no problem with republicans. Or true conservatives for that matter. I do have a problem with Trumpists. Those folks somehow let a born rich, little Dick, big mouth yankee convince them he was the second coming; their savior. Those folks have placed a demagogue over country, countrymen, and party. They are a radical insurgency that must be dealt with by any means necessary.

There are plenty of republicans that have moved on or weren’t happy with trump. You saying “that’s the GOP now” is just a way to rationalize continued divisiveness and hate, which I’m sure politicians love. No different than saying all democrats are socialists. Probably vote strict party line as well. Hopefully the moderates will rise again, but unfortunately with the internet and social media it has heightened the extremes. Very sad.

I’m not sure who the republicans are going to nominate for president in 2 years, but I’m certainly not going to act like it’s a foregone conclusion, try to paint half of the country in a certain light, or start randomly calling strangers racists and homophobes (which is actually really a serious insult) like some lunatic with Tourette’s.
