I didn't have to get old to hate it, I always have. The older I get the more I dislike daylight savings time just leave it standard time
You are truly a free man.Government ain’t telling me how to set my clock. Sheeple.
Permanent DST is better, though I live on the east side of a time zone. Gets dark way too early in the winter. The older I get the more I dislike daylight savings time just leave it standard time
I hate it.this weekend. yesterday was a top 10 coldest day for me. may turn into a true spring this year with a slow warm up and no more crazy cold spells!
Agreed but unfortunately I think if we want to quit it's going to have to change to permanent daylight savings time. However I am encouraged to see atleast a few on here that feel otherwiseThe older I get the more I dislike daylight savings time just leave it standard time
No, it's the opposite. States can opt for full-year standard time (like Arizona and Hawaii), but they can't switch to full-year daylight savings time.Agreed but unfortunately I think if we want to quit it's going to have to change to permanent daylight savings time. I guess I meant if permanent change, the majority would prefer daylight savings time. So if a law would be passed for permanency, they would find a way to make it daylight savings time permanentNo, it's the opposite. Personally I like daylight savings time, but I agree it doesn't serve any real purpose.
Wait, you have a clock?Government ain’t telling me how to set my clock. Sheeple.
Going tangent to this, I was reading a study about relative productivity of those in different areas of a time zone (east vs. west along about the same latitude). The areas compared were either Mobile or Huntsville, AL, vs. Lubbock, TX. They found those on the eastern edge of the timezone were more productive since they have an earlier sunrise but still worked later into the day. Stuff of that nature.Permanent DST is better, though I live on the east side of a time zone. Gets dark way too early in the winter.
Same with deer crossings. Why do they always put them across busy highways???All this talk about global warming and then the government insists on mandating an extra hour of sunlight during the hottest months of the year
hypocrites
I live on the west side of a time zone and it still gets dark way too early in the winter.Permanent DST is better, though I live on the east side of a time zone. Gets dark way too early in the winter.
