Id be shocked if it werent. BTN needs viewers.

IF BTN decides to not show it, could NET swoop in and air it? Or is that against the BTN contracting.

More likely BTN will have it but the question is if it will be live or tape delayed..

Don’t think we want it on. Right now only 24,000 tickets sold
You absolutely want it on TV. Exposure, exposure, exposure. Considering it's still several weeks away and the state of the program, 24K sold already is excellent.

well last year us commonfolk cried when season ticket holders bought damn near every ticket in the presale.
That was 2018, Frost's first year and the ticket limit was 20. In 2019 the limit was dropped to 10 and there were about 35,000 tickets available to the general public. There was no game in 2020.

The 50% stadium capacity is such non-sense. Texas is not having any issues and Nebraska is one of the lowest states for Corona, but have to keep that fear alive right Biden?

OK, so why haven't they been able to sell the tickets for 40K which is half of what they normally get? Seems to be two possible answers - 1. people are still hesitant to be in a crowd, 2. people don't care and will just watch it on TV.

Personally, I was a bit surprised there are still tickets available but then, I am trying to not be surprised by anything these days.

Honestly, it’s whatever you want it to be.

That’s not a dig at you personally, it’s just reality. Whatever a person thinks is the reason tickets are still available won’t be convinced otherwise.

For several years I have been part of a group that buys 15-20 tickets in the same general area of the stadium for a fun afternoon with family and friends, kids included. We aren't the only ones who organized groups like that, and limiting ticket sales to four stopped that for this year, at least for us. Increasing the limit this late isn't going to change things for us as decisions have been made. I'm sure that the factors that you listed are also in the mix, but it appears to me that the AD's office greatly over estimated demand for this Spring Game, which is surprising given that the team has been not been exactly watchable for quite a while and there is no draw in the form of a new coach or a highly-touted new quarterback, receiver or running back.

30,000 of 45,000 already sold. Not sure that meets the definition of "greatly overestimated demand".

Sorry you chose to change your plans because the 15-20 of you couldn't sit right next to each other. You could have chosen to hangout all together before the game and after the game, with no limitations. Sounds like a you problem.

Thanks for being a dick, it is what you do best.
2018: 80,000 tickets sold in 24 hours.
2019: 80,000 tickets sold in 5 days.
2021: 29,000 tickets sold in 20 days.
Nope, no over-estimating demand there.

2018 and 2019 - 80,000 of 90,000 is roughly 88% - Scott Frost first and second year as HC, tons of excitement, high expectations and fan wanting to see what the fuss was all about.
2021 - 30,000 of 45,000 is about 67% with a couple of weeks left to sell tickets, during a worldwide pandemic for a team coming off 4 consecutive losing seasons. If they sell 10k more it will be the same 88% of capacity.

But hey, as long as you and your friends can't sit together, then it's overestimating demand.

I am trying to help you out here, you are not good at this.

You have posted the words, Butt buddies, viagra and jelly much, it really has me concerned that you have a bit of an anal fetish. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Just a bit odd for a football message board.

Ok loser, I’m getting off for now. No worries though, I’ll hunt you down tomorrow. Promise 😎
