That's the date of the spring "game". The OP was wanting to know when spring practices get started, and the correct answer is Monday March 23rd after spring break concludes.April 25 is when it will be.
March 25 - April 25.Do we have a date for the beginning of Spring Practice?
SIAP
March 23 is Iowa's Pro Day. Spring practice starts March 25.March 23
From the most recent signing class My two favorite OL are Hudson Parliament and Carsen Nielsen. HP has the size to play early and CN moves really well and has a frame that can easily bulk up.It can't get here fast enough. I went through the last two recruiting classes to see how they are going to build the o-line and d-line. There are a lot of great candidates. I can't wait to see how that all goes.
I'm so old I remember the days when most NFL players didn't even lift weights, let alone high school or college players. When is Iowa gonna recruit the top candidates from Mr. America competitions or the Olympic weight lifting participants? Get those weight lifting champs and teach 'em football instead of the other way around. And then there are those sumo wrestlers who could make quite the O-line . . .Kade Pieper, Will Hubert and Zach Lutmer broke all-time squat records for ther positions. Hubert also broke the all-time hang clean for DL set by Carl Davis 12 years ago...
Time to hire Tony Mandrich as strength and conditioning coach.I'm so old I remember the days when most NFL players didn't even lift weights, let alone high school or college players. Earl Campbell never lifted no weights. Does Pieper's go center or guard? If he beat Logan Jones, damn, that's impressive.Kade Pieper, Will Hubert and Zach Lutmer broke all-time squat records for ther positions. Hubert also broke the all-time hang clean for DL set by Carl Davis 12 years ago...
YesDo we think the starting QB will be announced after spring or in fall camp?
Mandarich would be good if there was a staff position for steroids distributor.Time to hire Tony Mandrich as strength and conditioning coach.
Nebraska's Vitamin S distributor must have been staff reduced quite some time ago.Mandarich would be good if there was a staff position for steroids distributor.
That would explain a lot.Nebraska's Vitamin S distributor must have been staff reduced quite some time ago.

I actually think Pieper ends up better than Jones at centerDoes Pieper's go center or guard? If he beat Logan Jones, damn, that's impressive.
Kirk making the choice? You think he has a history of going for the gunslinger or going for the steady guy? Kirk's favorite color is tan, so that tells you where he'd lean. Now if it's Lester, he's probably going to roll the dice with the gunslinger.Recent interview of Mark Gronowski:
But who will be the starter for the Hawkeyes in 2026? Well, it depends on what type of player Kirk Ferentz and Tim Lester want as the leader of the offense.
"I really love Jeremy's skillset that he has," Gronowski said. "He's a fearless thrower. He really wants to get the ball downfield. More aggressive throws. Take a lot more risks."
But having an aggressive quarterback inherently comes with a higher risk of more turnovers. Not only does Brown have more in-game experience, but he seems to be a well-rounded quarterback option as well.
"I think Hank is just super consistent with everything he does," Gronowski said. "That's not just on the field, but it's off the field. All his habits, he wants to be great and does all the little things right as well."

Tough duty in his only year at center. They don't give the Remington to okay centers. He was damn impressive the last 2 years...I actually think Pieper ends up better than Jones at center
"favorite color is tan". lolol.. You guys understand Kirk went this route (being conservative) because he realized early on he could NOT compete for top level athletes at Iowa vs the power players schools on a yearly basis roster wide. SO, he decided we could win more then our share, by doing the "dirty work". Being the tougher roster. Limit mistakes, don't turn the ball over. Grinding down their chances with the ball. VERY similar to what were seeing and hearing right now from Ben and Jan, "blue collar blue bloods". mantra. Kind of like watching the guys play basketball. Its not pretty but it pretty darned effective most of the time. In a couple of years Ben will probably be boring as well to most the fan base if he doesn't win multiple conference titles.Kirk making the choice? Based off all the above - Give us Jeremy!Recent interview of Mark Gronowski:

"Kirk's favorite color is tan" may be the most accurate statement ever by anyone in the world. You can't possibly disagree......."favorite color is tan". lolol..
