He was talking about USCjr's #1 ranked women's basketball team. I thought he was just talking about the attractiveness of USCjr coeds at first haha.

I am not sure USC's women's team has ever done anything other than this #1 ranking. It would be just like USC to brag about accomplishing absolutely nothing.

No reason for anybody to be vile lol.
They're proud of their team, oh no, anything but that. I'm not a fan of their classless fan base, myself, but I'm not gonna bash on them for being proud of their women's team for being #1, despite it not being often. That's just dumb.

When UKs women played down there a couple of weeks ago the commentators said their women's team is averaging more attendance than their men's team IIRC.

AS General Patton said " America loves a winner and will not tolerate a loser".

I dunno how you guys dislike Spurrier. He's so god damn goofy and unique I find it impossible to hate the guy.

I know I always want to be pulled away from my basketball game to hear a man who is clearly drunk brag about his "winning season being better than a losing season" and talk about girls.

Yea, but it was a snide remark that placed the womens basketball equal to the mens, and football the better of both of them..... Snide Spurrier......

Either Steve has been out in the winter sun to long or he has a drinking problem ala Rudolph the red sweatered commentator.

Can't give props to his football team. At least him and Martin have something in common...getting beat by Kentucky. Spurrier's comments reminded me of UL fans actions a few years ago beating on their chest for their woman's team and baseball team. Spurrier probably doesn't even know one of their names and was probably fed that factoid before he went on air.

I thought he was there to try and recruit some of Frank's guys for the football team as they have some beefy players.

Heard it when he said it and thought: "That's all you (Spurrier) know about college basketball today?" and I'd be willing to bet it was something Spurrier learned just today with the help of others.

Wonder what Mrs Spurrier said tonite about "we got the women" comment"? Bad choice of words for a married man.
