I did not want to be the one to say this, but since you have opened it up, he looks slow and like he has cement blocks on his feet. I remember him being much more fluid earlier in his career. He kind of plodded around, in my opinion. I am not sure if it is injury related or mental, but I remember him being quick and explosive and almost graceful.
I think the best cure for that is to have him wrestle me. He would look lightning fast and like a million bucks against me.
You guys are crazy. Spencer has always had comments made about him having his feet in cement blocks since he was back in hs

It could be just me, but I don't think of him as being among the "quick feet" kind of guys. He is also someone who never over reacts to bluffs so him hopping around to avoid a faked TD is never really evident.

If you want to stretch semantics to try to cloud an actually valid point, Spencer actually missed multiple semesters and wrestled the 1st half of his freshman season unattached.

So, he actually wrestled about 4 seasons and I am right back to half. Semantics…
You are the one that said "half the years he wrestled for them". Your point was inaccurate, but I should never miscalculate your desire to yell at the clouds.
If changing your original post to seasons or semesters helps you sleep better, go for it.
Glad you are returning to form.;)

Lmfao, I conceded 2/5s did I not? But you had to delve into douchebaggery instead of just accepting the concession and taking the W. Still my point was Iowa was pretty much the best team for half the time he wrestled FOR Iowa. You want to count a medical redshirt year where he wrestled 3 matches, then I think YOU are the one that “changed goalposts” first, hence my not so subtle reference to semantics.

As far as yelling at the clouds goes, again refer to the 2/5 concession. The clouds were quite happy and sleeping peacefully at that point…

Spencer was obviously a disappointment. We all watch Spencer and think he's invincible and isn't human. But the truth is he gets nervous and has things going through his brain like everyone does. I believe he freaked himself out and just couldn't perform. Arsen is a quality opponent with many accolades at 61 it's not like he lost to someone bad but he definitely wasn't himself and I don't think it's was anything physical

So, counting the Olympic finals and an exhibition where he moved up in weight as 2 of the losses, he has 3 losses. Man, where would we be without mind blowing stats like that.
