What do you guys think the score will be Saturday? I think we will need a big game from Lowe in this one. However, I think we drop this one.

St Johns is a lot like Gonzaga. Older, experienced big guys in Ejiofor and Hopkins. Hopefully Dioubate will help with that.

They don't have a great PG setup either with mostly scoring guards, but Sellers and Sanon are shooting very well from 3. It will be a tough one for us, no doubt.

The energy I saw against IU was positive. Mo was a huge difference maker - much more than Lowe, but I think Lowe is still easing his way back and trying to take caution to not mess up that shoulder again. Oweh is slowly becoming a non-factor on offense but his energy on defense was ramped against IU.

Garrison - he definitely stepped it up, but he still needs to go up another notch (to 11) to really be effective against top competition.

All that said, I'll be surprised if we score more than 75. We apparently have no idea how to hit threes even though that was supposed to be our strong suit at the start of the year. Chandler has disappeared, Williams has hit one three (it seems) all year, Noah can't get open.

Close game that could go 50/50, but I'm hopeful that energy from last weekend carries over, and I'm basing this prediction on the assumption that it does:

Especially hearing Mo has missed practiced two days in a row, I expect Ejiofor to feast on our frontcourt. Would love to be wrong:

St. John’s 74
Kentucky 69

We are going to struggle scoring in the paint against them and we can’t shoot at the moment. Bad matchup.

I’m thinking that it’s another rock fight with multiple fouls called to slow down the game. It’s going to be an uphill battle for the Cats.

71- 68 UK. I can't imagine the mood around UK basketball with another loss, so I think we play hard and get a big win. Will probably be some ugly basketball either way.

I would’ve said St. John’s blowout after Gonzaga, but after Indiana, I’m leaning towards toss up.
Rick is certainly one of the greats of all time, and if you don’t believe me, just ask him he’ll tell you.

Wish our players had his mind set to 😜

St Johns really isn't the giant some are making them out to be here.
Agreed. With Mo and Lowe playing and JQ most likely logging a few minutes I think we win this one way more often than not. Fans gave up on this squad way too early when we haven’t been healthy at all this season. Sure we have holes in the lineup etc etc but overall we have a team who can and should beat St Johns and finish top 3 in SEC.
